Soon I am going to change the engine oil as well, thinking about Mobil1 5W-30 Extended Performance with the same Filter or ARAL High Tronic F 5W-30 or ARAL Super Tronic Long LifeIII 5W-30.
Very appreciate if any body can say his opinion about slightly different viscosity for engine oil, - can we use it for FJ? : ARAL (or any full synth) Super Tronic G 0W-30 or ARAL Super Synth 0W40. Or MOBIL 1 Super Synth 0W-40, which is more common in Europe.

As far as the oil level, the reading 10 mins after shutdown should be correct
The FJ should work fine on 0W-40. I had my oil analysed and the regular 5W-30 had issues with shearing down. I ran Esso XD-3 0W-40 and it tested fine, with no impact on fuel economy.
Esso XD-3 is commonly available in Canada and is used in road transport trucks, off road equipment, and is appropriate for most automotive engines as well. Their 0W-40 is rated safe down to -45 C. If I were to run in consistent cold temps of -40 C and colder, I would run a synthetic 0W-20
I hate to ask a silly question, but since you purchased your FJ from a dealer in California, I'm going to assume it has California emissions. Is unleaded petrol available in the Ukraine or Russia for that matter? When Ford sold Crown Victoria police cars to Moscow and other cities in Russia in the 1990's, they were shipped without catalytic converters or O2 sensors
If the petrol has lead additives or other metallic additives, such as methylcyclopentadienyl manganease tricarbonyl, the O2 sensors and catalytic converters will be damaged and stop working. The first symptom would be the Check Engine light turning on :!:
If you can't get high quality unleaded petrol where you live, you may have to remove the O2 sensors and catalytic converters and install an "O2 simulator." The O2 simulator plugs into the harness where the O2 sensors hooked up and tricks the computer into believing all the emissions equipment is installed
